Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, I collect the data shown in the comments form. I also record the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. I use this data to detect spam.
After I approve your comment, your profile picture becomes visible to the public within the context of your comment.
Media
When you upload images to the website, you should avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download images and extract any location data from them.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on my site, you can opt-in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies are for your convenience; they prevent you from having to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
When you visit my login page, I set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data. I discard it when you close your browser.
When you log in, I also set up several cookies. These cookies save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. For users that register on my website (if any), I also store the personal information they provide in their user profile.
Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data I hold about you. This includes any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This right does not include data I must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
All registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
